He was made a freeman of the Colony, 7 March 1642/3, and became one of the two Grand Jurors for Marshfield. He served the town as committee (Deputy) in the General Court of the Colony 1643, 1644, and 1646 to 1650. Robert was a member of the military company in Marshfield. • Joseph, b. ca. 1649; d. in Marshfield, 3 Jan. 1710/1, age 62; m. Sarah Snow, daughter of Anthony and Abigail (Warren) Snow. Joseph was left an orphan when he was about 14 years old and the General Court appointed Josias Winslow and Joseph's future father-in-law, Anthony Snow, as his guardians. Joseph and Sarah lived in Marshfield and had seven children.
  • Robert, Jr., b. ca. 1652; d. 18 May 1741; m. (1) Susanna Lincoln; m. (2) Sarah (Lewis) Lincoln.
