William Stacy
William Stacy appears first in Kittery, ME in 1679. We do not know that he was our immigrant ancestor as that distinction may have belonged to Thomas "Stace" of Ipswich, MA, who married Susan Wooster, 4 August 1653. Their son, William, was born 21 April 1656. However, we have not been able to definitively link our William Stacy with him. Our William lived north of Sturgeon Creek in Kittery, ME. William and his wife Mehitable (Weymouth) Stacy had seven children, all born at Kittery, ME:
