Henry Green married second in Hampton, NH 10 March 1690/1 to Mary (Hussey) Page, daughter of Christopher and Theodate (Bachiler) Hussey and widow of Thomas Page.

Henry first appeared in Ipswich, Massachusetts in 1642. He apparently owned land in Hampton, New Hampshire before 1644 and established his permanent home there on the south side of Taylor's River by 1653. He was a carpenter, millwright, and mill owner. He was a commissioner to settle the Salisbury line, a selectman in 1662 and 1680, and the moderator 1691, 1693-4, and 1697. He was a town councilor, a Justice of the Court of Sessions, and the Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas 1697-1698.

Henry and his first wife Mary (-----) Green had seven children:

  • Abraham.
  • Abigail, b. 6 Oct. 1650; d. 13 May 1669.
  • Isaac, b. 1651; m. 18 Feb. 1673/4 Mary Cass.
  • Jacob, b. about 1653; d. 5 Nov. 1726; m. Sarah -----.
  • Mary, b. probably in Hampton, NH, date unknown. In 1660, William Edmonds of Lynn sued Mary's father for the cure of her leg at the expense of over 20 pounds for 11 months' time. Mary m. in Haverhill, MA, 4 Nov. 1678, Peter Green, as his second wife, and they had four children.
  • Elizabeth, b. probably in Hampton, NH, 11 June 1656; m. (1) James Chase; m. (2) Capt. Joseph Cass.
  • Hannah, b. probably in Hampton, NH; d. probably in Rowley, MA, 30 March 1718; m. (1) 5 June 1676 John Acey of Rowley and they had four daughters; m. (2) before 1698 John Shepard of Rowley, and they had one son.

Jacob was a selectman in Hampton, NH, 1695, 1702, and 1705. He was a juror in 1698 and was called "Captain" in 1700.

  • Mary, b. 17 April 1693; m. (1) Nathan Longfellow; m. (2) Joseph Macrest.
  • Abigail, b. 27 Sept. 1700; d. 23 April 1723; m. 29 Jan. 1719 Daniel Weare.
  • Jacob, b. 12 Sept. 1702; m. 17 Dec. 1728 Mary Gale.
  • Jonathan, b. 23 Aug. 1704.
