Richard Dodge was a farmer and lived in the south part of Wenham. He owned a large farm in Ipswich, which he subsequently gave to his eldest son, Richard. He also had land near Chewbacco Lake in Ipswich. He owned a cider mill and press. Richard and Mary are buried in North Beverly, MA, where stones mark their graves.

Richard and his wife Mary (Eaton) Dodge had five children.

William Dodge

Died: 5 Aug 1737.
Father: Walter Fairfield, Sr.
Mother: Sarah Skipper.
William Dodge married second, Mrs. Abigail Giddings of Hamlet Parish.

William spent a long and prosperous life in Wenham, MA. In the record of his death he was called Lieutenant William Dodge. He acquired a large amount of land which he distributed among his sons. In January 1722/3, he received a deed of six acres from his father-in-law, Walter Fairfield, Sr., which had been conveyed to his sons, Walter Fairfield, Jr. and Nathaniel, on condition that they should supply his wants. In 1752, he distributed his lands to four of his sons; the fifth, Isaac, having been provided for and moved to Bosxord and thence to Sutton some years before.

William and his wife Prudence (Fairfield) Dodge had ten children.
