We are descended from Thomas Brewer through two of his daughters, Mary and Sarah. Sarah Brewer married Thomas Webster, and their daughter, Sarah Webster, married William Lane, Jr., the son of Mary Brewer and William Lane.

Thomas Brewer

Thomas Brewer and his wife, whose name is not known, first appeared in Ipswich, Massachusetts, and later in Hampton, New Hampshire. We do not know where they came from originally. Thomas Brewer died in Hampton, NH on 23 March 1690.

Thomas and his wife had at least three children, places and dates of births unknown:

  • John; m. Mary Whitmore of Ipswich.
  • Sarah, m. 2 Nov. 1657 in Hampton, NH, to Thomas Webster, son of Thomas and Margaret Webster.
  • Mary, m. in Boston, MA, 21 Aug. 1656 to William Lane of Boston.
